Do I need to map to all of the provided fields?
Working with Batches
My fund mistakenly received UDS files for claims that belong to a different state. What should I do?
First, contact the Receiver and the desired destination fund to explain the situation. The Receiver should be notified before doing any transfer, and the receiving fund should be aware that the transfer is happening.
There are two options for getting the records to their correct destination:
-
- Utilize the Transfer feature of the UDS Data Mapper to change the destination and send the records where they belong.
- Ask the Receiver to re-send the batch through the UDS Data Mapper with the correct location codes.
In either case, the files that were received in error should be immediately deleted.
