The UDS Data Mapper performs nearly 50 validation checks on insolvency data as it generates UDS files. The NCIGF IT team is working on implementing new data validation rules for the UDS Data Mapper, which will be included in the Fall release.
We are interested in collecting ideas from the community for additional useful validation checks that could be implemented within the UDS Data Mapper. Our goals are to enhance the quality of data delivered through GSI to the guaranty funds and reduce delays in loading and processing UDS files.
A complete list of current and proposed data validation checks is available here.
Please contact Nate Jennings ([email protected]) if you have additional ideas for data validation tests that we could build into the UDS Data Mapper or if you have questions about this project. We are always open to suggestions, but we will freeze the new rules for implementation at the end of October so we can build them into the Fall release.
