June 2025 Updates for the UDS Data Mapper
We’ve been hard at work improving the UDS Data Mapper, and we’re excited to share our latest release with you! This update represents one of our most comprehensive upgrades, featuring a completely redesigned user interface, enhanced functionality, and numerous quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback. Whether managing a single insolvency or juggling multiple complex cases, these new features are designed to make your workflow more efficient and intuitive.
New Features
NOTE: The features listed below are available at our new beta site: https://betamapper.guarantysupport.com. We’ve made it possible to easily toggle between the production (old) and beta (new) environments without needing to re-upload data, re-create maps, etc.
- Completely New Responsive User Interface: The UDS Data Mapper now features a completely redesigned responsive interface, providing users with a more intuitive and streamlined experience when working with UDS data.
- Dark Mode: Users can now switch to dark mode for a more comfortable viewing experience, especially during extended work sessions or in low-light environments.
- Favorite Directories: Users can now mark directories as favorites (“Star”), making it easier to quickly access frequently used insolvencies. This is particularly handy for users managing multiple insolvencies who need quick access to specific directories.
- Alphabetical Directory Organization: Directories are now presented alphabetically, making locating specific insolvencies in your workspace easier.
- Enhanced UDS Validation: We’ve added over 20 new UDS validation rules to help ensure data quality and compliance. These rules help catch potential issues before files are processed, reducing delays and improving the accuracy of UDS records.
- Robust Error Reporting: The system now provides a more comprehensive listing of job errors and no longer stops processing on the first error encountered. This allows users to see all issues at once and address them more efficiently.
- New Map Creation Interface: We’ve introduced a completely new interface for creating maps, making the mapping process more intuitive and user-friendly.
- Reimagined “View All Records” Page: The “View All Records” table has been expanded and redesigned to include all record types available in the mapper, providing users with a comprehensive view of their data.
- Record Type-Specific Tables: Each record type now has its own searchable table, making it easier to find and work with specific types of records.
- Enhanced Record Type Pages: Child pages for each record type have been reorganized to mirror how claims systems organize data more closely, providing a more familiar workflow for users.
- Live Beta Environment: We’ve introduced a new live beta environment, which allows users to test new features and provide feedback before they are released to production. The production and beta interfaces are connected to production databases, so you can experience new UI features without re-uploading data files, creating duplicate maps, etc.
- General Improvements: Numerous cleanup and improvements have been made throughout the application to enhance performance, usability, and overall user experience.
